Al Shaali Moto unvield the Jetmax-250cc Automatic Scooter series

250cc automatic scooterThe CF Moto JetMax pumps out a 16.5 Kw of power, runs fuel injection and is liquid cooled. The engine has been built and developed in-house by CF Moto. A unique credential in China, CF Moto chose and develop their own engine. The JetMax has a long sloping front which is dominated by two large headlights either side of a chrome grill. The touches of chrome look smart and over time the styling actually grew on all of us. A round on backside with an integrated set of LED lights.

The dashboard is classic, the main feature being a large analogue dial for speed with digital elements for fuel and temp. Everything is easily visible at a glance, even the MP3 music controls sit nice and central. Speakers are with the tuners on both sides fitted. The switchgear is all above, it felt good and looked respectable.

The central tunnel between the feet houses the fuel filler. You enter the fuel manually by key, the cap is a simple screw on/off affair. The glovebox holds smaller loose items, here you will find the USB input for the MP3 player.
250cc Automatic Scooter
The seat is low 718 mm, the seat is too comfortable, a huge welcoming backrest supports the rider. The seat opens off the ignition key and opens to reveal a large storage area. It's one helmet - plus type storage, rectangle in shape and deep. The ignition comes with a slide over security feature that can be opened and closed by reversing the key.

Wheel size is 15 inch on the front and a 14 inch on the rear, Rear shocks are dual adjustable jobs.

Centre and side stand come as standard. Brakes are dual disc on the front (240mm) and single disc on the rear (220mm).

On the Road

With CF Moto's JetMax 250 what immediately apparent is the available power on tap. The JetMax in numerous off the line acceleration runs was just behind Piaggio's X7 300, Impressive for a scooter with it's price point. Top speed testing revealed a true GPS measured 130 km/h. The JetMax was out about 8 km/h on the speedo, displaying a top speed of under 140 km/h.
250cc scooter
Sitting above the speed of 140 and longer periods is relaxing, everyone agreed this produced the best from the engine. The JetMax sits low to the ground so immediately you feel comfortable and you find this one easy to manoeuvre even at low speeds. The JetMax holds an impressive heavy stable line at speed.

The dual front brakes are the key to stopping, On fast stretches you could easily get away with just using the rear brake anyway. Actually on fast sections of road, you could come into 60 km/h corners and use the CVT to slow. Once in and through the apex, full power, twist hard and away you go.

Talking of CVT transmissions, the JetMax could take off at any stage and letting you know it's doing its job. You become a little more comfortable once realising the JetMax comes with its own set of tunes.

The tyres do need to be replaced, you would love something with a softer compound, one it would help with grip and two it would help with ride quality.

Summary

Coming back to our initial statement, Can you ride from Dubai to Al Ain with CF Jetmax, Yes you can, and in the case of the JetMax with confidence.
scooter automatic 250cc
Even the cold wintery conditions, the rain, freezing winds and slippery roads the CF Moto did a tremendous job, price point will always play some part in the purchase decision. A JetMax 250 could easily fulfil the role of a low priced freeway capable commuter. Easily able to reach 110 km/h and maintain these speeds for longer periods.

The CF Moto JetMax 250 comes with one year unlimited mileage warranty..

CFMOTO Terralander 800 (A big motor for big job)

The new Terralander is powered by a 799.6cc V-twin motor, making it as one of the largest, most powerful and most sophisticated machine in the ATV world. This Bike is brand new for the forthcoming year.
CFMOTO is Asian company that specializes in utility quads with CV transmissions. You won’t find a 450 sport quad or a manual gearbox in the entire line. Until now, that line has focused on 500cc and 600cc single. The announced of this 800 cc joins a very elite group as a maker of a high-tech, big-bore giant. It has an eight-valve, liquid-cooled, SOHC V-twin configuration with fuel injection.

The fuel-injected DOHC singles in CF’s existing line show the firm’s competency in developing its own motors and reflect a certain amount of motor savvy. The 800 simply has everything. The continuously variable transmission is typical of this class of machine. It has high and low ranges available on a left-hand stick shift, as well as park and reverse. A double push-button controller on the right handlebar gives you the options of two-wheel drive, four-wheel drive or all-wheel differential lock.
 Terralander 800-4
The chassis is sophisticated in its own design. It has double A-arm independent suspension all the way around with adjustable shocks. The fronts enclose with piggyback reservoir dampers with compression and rebound adjustment, while the rears contain only rebound clickers. Braking is handled by triple hydraulic discs with separate control for front and rear. What really sets CF MOTO apart from existing machines is the long list of special equipment already mounted up and ready to go which includes a 1000lbs winch, alloy wheels, hand guards, and belly and A-arm protectors.

The quad’s appearance goes one step beyond acceptable; the paint quality and overall finish is excellent.

This particular machine is, of course, designed for two riders. As such, it has a wheelbase that is about 8 inches longer than that of a typical utility quad. There is a removable passenger seat and backrest, as well as elevated passenger floorboards and grab bars that are built into the rear luggage rack
Terralander 800cc -5
So how’s the new motor? Great! It’s smooth, powerful and virtually free of glitches. The CF starts easily and idles evenly without the need for much warm-up. Like the company’s UTV that we tested, the fuel injection is impressive. There is no interruption or slip anywhere along the way. Most of the testing was done on hot days with the thermometer flirting with the 100-degree mark, and that kind of weather often makes a carburated motor run rich and dirt but not in this case. The CF Moto’s engine is indifferent to weather and elevation. It has a very satisfying feel too—big and rhythmic. It doesn’t buzz or vibrate also.
With the CF Moto, you get a lot of extras that don’t cost extra. The winch and the alloy wheels top the list.

In performance, the V-twin is solid. It makes excellent torque at the bottom of the range and then accelerates in a very linear fashion all the way up to a wild top speed. It’s accelerating so hard that we
don’t doubt it could blow past the 85-mph mark.
Terralander 800-7

In over-all handling, the CF Moto feels exactly as it should: big. It’s a massive ship that makes you feel more like a captain than a rider. Accordingly, you have to pick the type of terrain you tackle with, extreme side-hills and big dunes are a good idea on this quad, Having said that, the CF Moto does extremely well in all situations. There are two areas where it really excels. First, in broad, flat turns, it’s one of the most forgiving ATVs we have tested. It’s so long that everything happens very predictably. The rear end slides around easily with a little gas, and when you chop the throttle, it steps back into line without any sudden grabs or jerks. If the terrain has some light choppiness, the CF’s mass actually helps to keep the chassis steady and stable and the suspension is very good.

Another area where the CF was surprisingly capable is rock climbing. We discovered that the big two-seater actually had an advantage in rock steps and steep hills. It’s so long that the front end stays well planted where other utility quads get very light in front and even try to loop out. But, the CF will run out of ground clearance for the same reason—sheer length.

The main reason that most riders shop for two-up quads is because they want to share their adventure with someone. The two-up experience is great fun on the X8. The passenger area is very secure with well-placed handholds and a very cushy seat. It’s much thicker and softer than the front seat. The extra padding helps allow the passenger to see the trail ahead, which makes the experience more fun.

With a short passenger, the backrest is perfectly placed; it extends up to the shoulder blades for someone measuring around 5-foot-3 or so.

You need to choose your terrain with the passenger in mind. Everyone has a different threshold here. Some passengers have limitless faith and trust in their pilot; others are ready to bail out at the first sign of trouble. Either way, you should avoid certain conditions.

Cornering with two people is surprisingly easy. The 800 loses some of that easy, predictable handling, but it’s still very docile and frankly and much better

To make a summation of the X8 is a simple one. The motor in the X8 is a cracker, the performance gains over any single cylinder machine are immediately evident. The X8 is not pretending, this is high performance, high class act. The level of confidence and reassuring refinement from the suspension is impressive.
On the other hand, value is what this company traditionally offers, the price is about 20 percent lower than other companies in the same category.

A New Year with the Street Fighter, CFMOTO 650NK Naked Bike 2013

The Chinese-made CFMoto 650 NK can’t help but remind you of the Japanese invasion of the 1960s. Just as Honda’s game-changing CB450 was the first Japanese motorcycle Western customers saw as fun as well as functional, sporty in addition to affordable, the naked NK appears to be the first “real” bike to emanate from the world’s largest motorcycle market that is the People’s Republic of China.
When seated on the 650NK riders will be in a relaxed racing position allowing for easy handling and control, while the low 795mm seat height will appeal to a broad spectrum of riders.
paralel twin cylinder,4 stroke, DHOC
For a name that is being common in this country, CFMoto already have a pretty broad product portfolio. 2013 has seen new additions to the range, and the most talked about of these has been the 650NK.

ROCK SOLID
The 650NK’s engine is a 649.3cc parallel twin with double overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, gear-driven counter balancer and electronic fuel injection that matches Kawasaki’s ER-6n in almost every respect - the NK is still the first motorcycle to come out of China with an engine larger than 250cc. And after riding the NK, it’s worthy competition for any budget or beginner’s bike from Middle East, Asia or Europe, and available at a significantly lower price. In UAE, the 650 NK is for more than half as much as its competitors.

CFMoto’s parent company, Chunfeng Holding Group, was founded in 1989. Development of the 650 NK began in 2009 and the bike was launched in Australia, USA and United Arab Emirates early in 2012.
 650cc Sports Bike

CLEAN LIVING
The parallel twin is Euro 3 emissions compliant as well.
The moment when see the CF Moto 650 NK; it’s pretty sharp with its stubby R6-type exhaust, bright red frame and black bodywork that are so impressive. The paint depth and overall finish look equal to any Japanese-made budget bike, polished aluminum brake and clutch levers looks perfect match.
STRONG CHALLENGER
The whole bike is solid and well put together. It starts and idles smoothly, with a fairly exhaust note and an effective counter balancer that does a better job of eliminating engine vibes than the others. The riding position is balanced, and the footrests are enough to provide room for taller riders with limiting cornering clearance.
It’s for sure to be a very inexpensive bike, the 650 NK works better than it should. The parallel-twin engine is torquey, free-revving and smooth. Acceleration is determined as firm and it’s sufficiently strong to be satisfying, and the torque peak is spread widely enough that there’s no point in revving it anywhere near redline. The motor pulls from 3000 rpm upwards, with power building all the way to the rev limiter at 10,800 rpm. . Vibrations are kept to a minimum thanks to the internal counterbalancer, rubber bushings and relatively thick handgrips. You won’t have any problems flicking this bike around, as it changes direction with ease, has plenty of ground clearance, and soaks up everything in its path. And there’s no sacrificing stability either – it really feels rock solid.

Centralized KYB Suspension
About the only real sports bike the 650NK has the LCD digital screen. The analogue tachometer does its job.
With Kayaba’s Chinese affiliate providing the 41mm telescopic forks and centrally mounted shock (offset), as on the ER-6n and Ninja 650, the 650 NK’s suspension compliance is much better than anyone’s expectation, with good ride quality and the ability to absorb bumps and ripples in the road surface without affecting the steering. And the way the bike steers is indeed excellent, delivering self-confidence plus stability and allow to pick lines that would avoid the oil patches or slippery points.
Transmission on the 650NK is a 6-speed manual, which has been identified as a very accurate, smooth-shifting unit Brakes are decent-sized discs: twins on the front with twin piston calipers; and a good-sized ventilated rear disc as well. The NK is roomy, with the pegs mounted quite low in the frame, and the seat is a pearlier: you’ll travel in comfort as long as the 17-litre tank will hold out
Riding position is described by CFMoto as “relaxed racer”, and road tests have agreed that while upright, the seating position, bar reach, etc., is both comfortable and natural. It’s as well manufactured as it has been engineered, then this bike may have the same impact on the marketplace as the Honda CB450 did 47 years ago, becoming the bike that introduces Chinese motorcycles to the Western and European world. The NK could well be a game changer.
